about

Another three reels…The first I learned from the playing of Kevin Burke, Irish fiddler extraordinaire and a big influence on me. Fedora or Major Harrison’s Fedora, as I’ve also seen it, is a tune I learned as a two part reel when I was in my teens from Jack Perron and Randy Miller’s first edition of Irish Traditional Fiddle Music. The third part came via The House Band. Roarin’ Lauren is for just such a person! My second “niece”, Lauren Morrissey was born on April 22, 1992. My auntly responsibilities doubled from the first album, with Renn and Lauren, who joined Spencer and Brianna.
